Carol Vorderman beforehand thought her profession was over after a humiliating second on TV.
The TV star shot to fame in the Nineteen Eighties when she started co-hosting Countdown. Since then, Carol has remained booked and busy, showing on the likes of I’m A Movie star…, This Morning and The Wheel – which airs tonight (August 9).
However in keeping with Carol, there’s one present she significantly regrets collaborating in – with Carol even calling the expertise ‘traumatic’.
Carol Vorderman reveals ‘trauma’ of collaborating in present
Showing on the Off Menu podcast in 2023, Carol opened up about collaborating in the first-ever movie star model of Stars In Their Eyes in 1998.
The hit present noticed a number of stars impersonate well-known musicians, with Carol taking over singing celebrity Cher. However in keeping with Carol, she was not proud of the way in which the efficiency went. A lot so, that she thought her profession was over after the episode aired on TV.

Carol was left ‘in such a state of trauma’
The TV star then revealed she needed to begin the music once more after she missed the beginning.
She stated: “Actually, the tears have been involuntarily falling down my cheeks. I believed, oh my God, I can’t hear the music… It went out months later, I couldn’t watch it, I actually felt sick. I believed my profession, that’s it, it’s over.”
In the meantime, speaking in regards to the incident on her BBC Wales radio present, Carol additionally emphasised her humiliation over collaborating. She shared: “I started crying! I used to be in such a state of trauma.”
